Peripheral Edema – swelling of the legs caused by the retention of fluid in leg tissue.
Pulmonary Embolism — obstruction of a pulmonary artery by fat, air, a blood clot, or tumor cells.
Stroke — blockage of blood to the brain resulting in loss of oxygen.
Thromboembolism — obstruction of a blood vessel by a blood clot that has become dislodged.
Thrombosis — coagulation or clotting of the blood in a part of the circulatory system.
